PU HCC faculty members participate at AI Policy conference

LAHORE: (Wednesday, August 27, 2025): Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce (HCC) faculty members including Director International Office Dr Sadia Farooq and Deputy Director International Office Hafiz Fawad Ali participated in the 3rd NSPP Public Policy Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Public Policy & Governance. The conference was organized by the National School of Public Policy in collaboration with the Information Technology University and the Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy. The two-day conference served as a dynamic platform for dialogue on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public governance and policymaking. The event was attended by the ministers, educationists, scholars, renowned journalists, and senior bureaucrats. The gathering fostered interdisciplinary discourse and showcased a shared commitment to exploring innovative AI-driven solutions for better governance and service delivery. Dr Sadia Farooq, and Hafiz Fawad Ali actively participated in high-level discussions and policy-oriented sessions, contributing insights from the academic and commerce perspective. Their involvement reflected HCC’s dedication to academic excellence and its proactive engagement in policy-relevant forums.
